What is a Custom Recycled Bike?
Custom Recycled Bikes are old frames, new wheels and a combination of refurbished and new parts to complete the bike. We can build whatever type of bike that you can possibly imagine provided the frame exists already. We do not weld. We re-use frames. Mountain bikes, road, fixed gear, cruiser, vintage, or cyclocross.
Who Builds the Bike?
You and Ryan if you are up to the challenge. Participating in the design to construction of the bicycle is mandatory and fun.
I want to build a bike. What’s next?
Call Ryan to set up a consultation. Then, start dreaming about bikes.
What Happens in the Consultation Appointment?
We decide whether we want to build, re-use or buy wheels. We pick a frame and discuss budget.
How much do they cost?
Bikes start at five hundred dollars. The Custom Recycled Bike package covers labor, new wheels and a combination of new and used parts.
What Frames do you have you in Stock?
We have 30+ frames at any given time. If you already have a frame in hand, the same program applies.
What if you don’t have the Perfect Frame for me?
We can conduct a search for one. We will look locally and an online. The frame finding process is included in the Custom Recycled labor fee, but the frame from off-site is not.
Where do the Bike Parts come from?
We have a property full of bike parts. A good idea of our in-house stock is included here.
This is a good deal. What’s the catch?
You have to help build the bike. Contact Ryan at 720-837-8984 for specific questions.
