How Much We Have and How Much it Costs

Fixed Gear Cogs, 16T - 20T, 25.00

What kind of wheels do you have?

26″ Mountain Bike Wheels, Quick Releases for Front Wheels. We have rear wheels too for 7/8/9sp bikes. Do you have a really old bike? Bolt-on rims galore, even 26 x 1 3/8″. Twenty four and 20″ wheels for teen, kids and BMX bikes. 700c and 27″ rims and wheels in the stock yard as well.
All Used Wheels are $16

What kinds of bike parts do you have?

From the wheels mentioned above, we are more than happy to re-use hubs and rims from that pile. We have a Morizumi Spoke Machine to build new wheels. It is possible to recycle old spokes, but freshly cut new ones are often preferred, though an extra few dollars. Check out the link here to our Wheel Building Class: http://www.standardbikerepair.com/wheel-building-class/

On the Standard Bike Repair website, we have an Official Store. But in reality, it is a hob-knob WordPress Slideshow Plugin that shows a lot but not nearly close to all the bike parts we have at SBR. Here is the landing spot: http://www.standardbikerepair.com/bike-parts-sale-boulder/

Do you want to Swap out your Gearing Ratio and Do it Yourself?

We have chainrings, chains and cassettes of all sizes, access to a gearing ratio calculator and a Park Tool Chainring Diameter Gauge. In the event that we do not have your part in stock, we get weekly orders from our components supplier.

Cantilever Brakes For Sale

Used Seat Posts $9

New Seat Posts are Generally $20. I am amazed how often people need replacement seatposts. Remember, seat posts increase by .2 millimeters for each new size. Surprisingly .2mm is enough to make it impossible to extremely difficult to remove later. This is one of the first bike repair lessons that I learned humiliatingly at Community Cycles in front of Gary Gingras of Fat Kitty Cycles. I broke the work stand trying to hammer the closest one that fit into the bike. It took me a month to get it back out and got to introduce myself to several mechanics around town.
