Chainring Collection

Ever thought about Changing How Hard it is to Pedal your Bike?

There are three types of riders who may need a chain ring swap:

  1. One of the rings on the crank got damaged somehow via blunt force or long time wear.
  2. A single speed rider wants a different difficulty.
  3. A road or mountain bike rider has faced limitations in their ride and wants to hit different points the next time.

Our target clientele includes riders who know a lot about bikes and cyclists who know some about bicycles. The specific list below is for Front Range locals to review and find what they want. If you do not know what you need, a description of what you want to do with your bike is plenty for Ryan to offer advice.

Here is a blog post from Bicycle Quarterly and Compass Cycles titled: How to Choose your Chainrings

How Much Does it Cost to Change the Gearing Ratio in my Drivetrain?

The slideshow shows pictures of chain rings in stock. If you would like to change the gearing ratio of your bike, come to SBR near the Goss/Grove district. Used chainrings are $14. New ones are in the $25 to $55 range. Advice and drivetrain modification is $42.

How to choose your Chainrings

Chainrings can be configured for every need.
When I write a blog post, often times, I research the topic online first and look for pictures and wisdom.
