At Standard Bike Repair, Ryan will do anything and sell everything to make it through the cold winter, except for the Morizumi Spoke Machine.

For example, besides everything on the walls, Ryan’s winter bike and light blue 54cm Cilo road bike with hand built wheels and Shimano 600 components is up for auction. He can always build a new one. Paying bills in the winter as a bike shop is tough like a cookie that is not soft.

On Saturday, December 14th is the Christmas party and thank you to Peter Chisholm and the Veccio’s Holiday Party. When Ryan started SBR, he did not know how to fix a bike. Peter and Jim welcomed Ryan into the shop and charged him $60 an hour for advice.

Thank you Peter for the immediately useful advice. Jim, you saved me when you de-jammed a super expensive 10sp SRAM rear derailleur with a vise and slamming motions to get it unstuck. Had it not for your get-it-done demonstrations, I would have always believed that expensive parts are delicate.

If it is used, we often clean it with our ultrasonic parts cleaner. We keep a healthy stock of regularly needed new parts.

If we don’t have it in stock, we are happy to order the part. We get shipments about once per week.

We match prices to what you find on Google and Amazon. However, we won’t match the lowest price. We match the one in the middle and include what it would cost to ship. What you get is a a bike part for about the same price you would pay anywhere in town.

Compatible with center pull or side-pull brakes. The steel black frame has a crown shoulder with lugs. The Crown Race is 27.00mm. The 1” Thread is 100mm deep. The axle center to the crown race is 390mm. The Fork Drop-outs have four eyelets for bike racks and a 105mm axle span. The axle drop-out bolt hole is 9mm wide. 17.00
  3. Beefy S-brand BMX Fork for sale, 23.00. The legs are 32mm strong to carry the 1 x ⅛” Threadless 160mm long steerer tube. 100mm axle span for 20” wheels and bolts as big as 9.5mm wide. There is a hole for a center or side-pull brake for those BMx’ers that destroy with brakes.
  4. 26” Steel 1” Threaded Front Suspension Fork aren’t supposed to still work. Refer to the theory of Making Lots of Parts at Once for explanation on why these spongy forks are supposed to dry up, gunk up or completely stick if no maintenance is bothered or thought about. At 4lbs. 4oz., this steel object of desire won’t win sanctioned races unless rider is on PED’s. It is heavy and appropriate for a winner that is rebuilding his 1” threaded frame from eons ago. The urban crazy horse cyclist with a budget can make a banging bike with this thing.
