Director of Sales

Standard Bike Repair is looking for a Director of Sales.

We sell: education, bikes and repair services.

Your job will be:
coordinate customer requests with our specialized mechanics,
find cold leads and make them warmer
work with the owner on advertising strategy
converse with our financial department on a campaign budget
to motivate a team of people to work with together to maintain the sales and add growth
we are appointment based out of three locations — by summer, we expect to have regular open hours. The more business that we generate, the greater time we can offer.
your input will be used to improve our online message, pricing, and your wages
pay is dependent on negotiated commission agreement to bring in revenue in our three main lines of display: education classes, repair services and custom bike builds
increase our miscellaneous sales: used bikes, excess parts and Standard Bike Repair gear
our processes can handle business in the two to ten customer per week range; we have capacity to increase our abilities and our streamlined system has kinks, holes, and leaks: the best candidate will be able to increase sales by seven to ten fold, and help us drive the train of wheels in business.

Our team includes 5 mechanics, a carpenter, organizer, bookkeeper, CFO, and odd jobs people.

We have three locations: 1823 Marine St, Bob’s Budget Bikes and Boulder Indoor Cycling.

We have been in business since April of 2010: two summers into the megaplex of peak business hours.

This winter, we are building our basics to be prepared for our make-or-break third year. Your job is to come in, immediately jump sales and grease the gears to a big summer in 2012.
