Humor Ryan: Spend Some Time With Him Fixing Your Bike

Who is Ryan you may ask? One might say that he is biker, a businessman, a funny looking dude, or perhaps simply another human, citizen of the planet Earth. Ryan likes bikes. Yeah bikes! He does not just like them; he repairs them with joy and efficiency.

Would you like to learn how to fix your bike?

Ryan likes working with the customers. Fixing bikes all by yourself is boring.

You get to work side by side with Ryan at his shop called Standard Bike Repair. Humor him, stay for coffee, read poetry together: repair your bike.

I am going to need some tats to improve my look.

Watch/Help/Learn

Ryan provides a fun, hands-on experience. You will learn something.

How much does it cost to get your bike tuned-up in a Watch/Help/Learn fashion?

It cost $55 per hour. Parts are not included.

You do not always need to replace parts. Ryan gives recommendations. You get to control the cost.

Time for a Test Ride

Towards the end of the tune-up, it becomes time to ride the bike. Testing the adjustments that you made is an additional learning opportunity.

If you teach the customers how to fix their bikes, aren’t you working yourself out of a job?

No. You will learn what your bike should feel like. When something does go wrong, you will notice quicker. It is up to you to draw on what you have learned.

Once you see what a properly repaired bike is like to ride, you will not want to wait for it to creak down the road before you take it in.
