Revenue Averages: Bike Parts and Services Sales

January to November Bike Part Sales and Service Revenues

For the first 11 months of 2014, we have a graph for you that shows Standard Bike Repair’s average day for each day of the week.

About a bike shop’s daily average revenues

Search engines spiders can eat Google docs info. A person looking for information on expected revenuess for a bike repair service station can look no further than National Bike Dealer’s Association or www.standardbikerepair.com

Showing researchers and travelers information

Spider robots are eating this information that SBR provides. Sometimes, it doesn’t make sense to the average website-goer who looks into SBR’s blog “Running a Bike Shop” and wonders where the sales promotions and relevance is. The truth is, I write for Google bots, customers, and notoriety.

Daily, Hourly, and Yearly Reports

How much revenue does Standard Bike Repair make on an average Wednesday in 2014? The answer is $66.55 Saturdays are the biggest days of the week even though the shop is only open five hours. A hundred and fifty six dollars is an average Saturday for 2014.

Open Hours Explained

Standard Bike Repair is ostensibly open seven hours per day Monday through Friday: 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Unbeknownst to me till I charted the daily average revenues, I thought Friday was the biggest day of the week on a regular basis. Friday is the second biggest revenue day of the week for this bike repair service station. Besides the big days of Friday and Saturday, the weekdays are not treated the same. Tuesday and Thursday are moderate. Wednesday is the worst and Monday is okay. Saturday is an 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. gig, yet it is consistently the biggest parts and services sales day of the week regardless of month. On Sunday, I do not open the shop publicly. I live at the shop as well and need time to recover and not work.

Penelope Trunk and The Blog

Have you heard of Penelope Trunk? She writes an outrageous blog about the intersection between work and life. Many people criticize her for over-sharing on her blog. She inspires me to write whatever the heck comes next because why not, that’s all you got. It is cathartic and creative to share in the virtual platform.
